Here comes a rodent to hide your food!

I love Easter. I do. I grew up in a very non-religious household but we always did Easter, the lone Catholic holdout holiday from my mom's childhood I suppose. My dad adored dying the eggs and mom would stuff some baskets and hide the little candy-colored sandwich fodder around the house. As an adult, with no children of my own, the Easter bunny makes a rare appearance at my home. But as and adult, who lives in San Francisco, the Easter Bunny is alive and well (and not just on Easter but that's another post).

For this upcoming Easter I plan to spend some time with my family eating delicious spring foods like Sassy Radish's Spring Salad  along side some lamb a la Jacques Pepin.

If you're sticking around the city, fear not! The sisters will keep you entertained with their annual Hunky Jesus contest while on the other end of the spectrum there's the egg hunt on the roof garden at the Fairmont.

If, like many city-dwellers, Sunday will be just another hung over sort of day... head over to Foreign Cinema for their always fabu brunch!

Whatever your affiliations may be, whatever plans you may have... get out and enjoy Spring people! It's finally here!
